Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Dormer has no account and no server — your records never leave your phone (see our Privacy Policy).

How do I scan an appliance nameplate?

Add a home system, then tap the viewfinder to scan the model/serial plate. Scanning needs a real device camera (it doesn't work in the Simulator). Always double-check the captured text.

What does Dormer+ include, and is there a trial?

There's a 14-day free trial (no card). Dormer+ unlocks maintenance & warranty reminders, the template library, PDF & spreadsheet exports, the insurance inventory, cost basis, replacement forecasting, multiple homes, and Face ID lock. Recall safety alerts are always free.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the Dormer+ screen and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and are Family Sharing–eligible.
